Finland — The investment company Pontos acquires NREP’s stake of the NREP C1 real estate portfolio, resulting a 100 percent ownership of the portfolio for Pontos.

Nordic — 2019 will be a year of expansion for Logicenters. Three key positions are now being added in order to support the growth of the organisation. Simon Campbell, Richard Drougge and Victoria Ödmark will be taking on these new positions at Logicenters.

Sweden — NREP appoints Stefan Wallander as new CEO for its operations in Sweden. Wallander will now lead NREP through an expansive growth phase as the company plans on broadening both its business and areas of investment.

Denmark — Logicenters will develop a 14,872 square meter property just outside Copenhagen. An almost twelve-meter-high cross-dock facility with modern and flexible specifications will be constructed and planned to be completed in 2020. The tenant Bring will move into the building upon completion.

Denmark — Upcycle Studios, designed by Lendager Group, is the only Nordic project at this years Mipim Awards competing for Best Residential Development. In the category Best Industrial & Logistics Development CF Møller Architects are competing with their UK project Greenwich Peninsula Low Carbon Energy Centre.

Sweden — NREP acquires office properties at Stora Essingen and at the same time signs contingent agreement for transfer to JM.

Sweden — Logicenters and Kilenkrysset collaborate to develop a 150,000 sqm logistics park in Håbo, North of Stockholm.

Sweden — NREP sells its 50 percent share of the Karlastaden development project in Gothenburg back to Serneke.

Denmark — NREP, purchases that part of the property at Vesterbrogade, which has until now housed the WestMarket food market. NREP’s plan is to convert the food market into a hotel with expected opening in the first half of 2020.

Denmark — Heimstaden acquires a portfolio of condominiums in eight properties located in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Vejle for DKK 1.128 billion (EUR 151M).

Norway — Logicenters expands the property portfolio in Norway with the purchase of a newly developed logistics facility in Råde, 70 kilometers from Oslo.

Finland — YIT will expand and renovate Huhtamaki’s production, storage and business premises in Hämeenlinna, Finland. The customer in the project is NREP Logicenters, a Nordic developer and owner of modern logistics properties. The turnkey contract includes a new building of around 15,000 square metres and the renovation of 2,700 square metres of existing premises.

Denmark — The former Mayor of Copenhagen, Jens Kramer Mikkelsen, has joined NREP to provide vision and strategic leadership for the company’s urban developments across the Nordic region.

Nordic — SEB’s Head of Capital Introduction joins NREP, bringing over 20 years of experience across the spectrum of alternative investments, to further strengthen NREP’s partnerships with strategic investors in the Nordics and globally.

Nordic — NREP has established a EUR 900M fund to invest in underserved real estate segments in the Nordics, such as student housing, flexible living for young professionals, low- and middle-income rental apartments, active senior co-living, care homes, community retail centers and modern logistics.

Sweden — NREP Logicenters acquires a new built 8,500 sqm property in Viared near Borås.

Denmark — Following the sale of the largest portfolio of necessity-driven retail centers in Sweden in June 2017, NREP has now exited two additional retail portfolios in Denmark.

Nordic — Tobias Alsborger has been with NREP since the early days, and has played an important role in building the Swedish team. He leaves for personal reasons.

Finland — NREP has sold a prime office property located in the district of Sörnäinen in Helsinki to M&G Real Estate.

Sweden — NREP has sold the community center Näsbypark Centrum in Täby, Stockholm.

Nordic — NREP secures the largest portfolio exit of necessity driven retail assets in Sweden in 2017 by selling a portfolio consisting of 11 assets and a total area of 63,500 square meters to Storebrand/SPP.

Sweden — NCC is divesting the Önskebrunnen logistics project in Brunna for an agreed property value of approximately MSEK 150 (EUR 15M). The buyer is NREP Logicenters.
