Besqab has signed an agreement to construct and sell the residential project Lindallén with 253 apartments. The deal is part of Besqab's new business area Rental properties. The buyer is NREP, through the fund NREP Nordic Strategies Fund III. The transaction is carried out as a company transaction and Besqab hand over the housing in various stages during the year 2021 and 2022. The purchase price is SEK 493 million. Estimated production start is summer 2019.

"I am very pleased with the agreement we have signed with NREP. This shows our ability to create business with an interesting category of real estate investors and that contributes positively to the Group's results. Through the agreement, the area will have a diversification of tenure forms, which provides an even better living environment for our customers. We are an experienced player in the market that can offer municipalities and property owners different types of leasing for more customer segments and we work to be able to carry out more renting projects in the future," says Anette Frumerie, CEO of Besqab.

"As part of NREP's ambition to be a leading Nordic player in the residential, elderly and logistics segments, we, NREP, are very happy to enter into this deal with Besqab. The deal represents an important first step in building a long-term management portfolio in the residential segment in Sweden. Combined with NREP's stated sustainability profile, the project fits in well with our investment strategy," says Rickard Dahlberg, founder and partner of NREP.
