"We are thrilled to add the office property Bylingen 1 to our portfolio. This acquisition marks an important milestone in our efforts to strengthen our presence in the Stockholm area and gives us the opportunity to provide modern and attractive premises in a dynamic and sought-after office submarket. Through this acquisition, we are also establishing a new collaboration with Atell, and we look forward to a successful and productive partnership in which we will unlock the asset’s full potential through improvements of both the premises and the energy performance," says Mikael Pehrsson, Partner at Alma Property Partners.
“We are very excited about the acquisition of Bylingen and look forward to actively repositioning the property. The central location of the property and the flexible layout are attractive features in the Stockholm occupier market today,” says Anna Reuterskiöld, Founding Partner at Atell.
The property was acquired from Deka Immobilien, and the transaction was closed on the 16th of December.
Kilpatrick acted as legal advisor to the buyers.
Newsec and Cushman & Wakefield were advisors to Deka Immobilien.
"During the year, we have noted continued interest in quality office products in several successful deals in the Stockholm market and it is positive to see how the investor base is broadening, both nationally and internationally, in line with increasing competition, of which Bylingen is a good example," say Newsec and Cushman & Wakefield in a joint statement.
