Nordiqus AB, a leading educational infrastructure provider in the Nordics, acquires two adjacent assets Inlagsby 3 and Inlagsgärde 4, in Kungsbacka from Nystad Stadsutveckling AB. The assets consist of an elementary school together with a sports hall, fully let to Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) and Kungsbacka municipality with a WAULT of approximately 17 years.
“We are very pleased to acquire this school and sports hall in such an attractive location in central Kungsbacka”, says CFO Samuel Spetz and continues, “The area has experienced notable development in recent years, with these assets as a central part of a social infrastructure cluster in direct connection with the city center.”
The buildings on the assets were completed in 2021 and are constructed with a high sustainability profile. The assets are attractively located in central Kungsbacka, in close proximity to public transport, services and recreation. The total lettable area amounts to approximately 11 000 square meters with capacity for more than 900 students.
“The assets are in a very good condition and we will ensure that they will remain this way. Nordiqus is a stable and long-term owner of educational infrastructure and we are happy to strengthen our relationship with IES and include Kungsbacka municipality in our portfolio”, says Mathias Cronqvist, Head of Region Sweden South.
“The acquisition aligns perfectly with Nordiqus’ strategy of acquiring and managing educational facilities of the highest quality for future generations. We are continuously working on developing and expanding our portfolio and are constantly seeking new acquisition opportunities and ways to strengthen partnerships with our customers and collaborators” says CEO Jenny Rehn.
