Finland — YIT to sell projects in Finnish growth centres to investors and the first plots to the newly established plot fund.

Finland — YIT, Rausanne Oy and Turun Osuuskauppa (S Group, Turku Cooperative Society) together have agreed to construct a new hotel in Kupittaa, Turku. The value of the transaction is approximately EUR 30M. The project will be entered in the order backlog for the second quarter of the year.

Finland — A consortium formed by YIT, Are and Länsimetro Oy have signed an agreement on the construction of the Soukka station on the West Metro line in Espoo. The value of the contract is approximately EUR 50M, whereof YIT’s share is approximately EUR 35M.

Finland — YIT has started several apartment building projects during April and May. The largest of the started projects include Helsingin Pikkutylli, Kauniaisten Kreivi and Vantaan Koukku, among others, with value of approximately EUR 50M in total.

Finland — YIT has signed an agreement worth approximately EUR 55 million with the City of Imatra to construct a wooden school centre in the city’s Mansikkala district. The agreement also includes maintenance for 20 years.

Finland — YIT and the City of Helsinki are planning a city block in Kruunuvuorenranta.

Finland — YIT has entered into an agreement with the City of Espoo, on the construction of the Karhusuo school centre’s phases 2 and 3.

Finland — YIT has started the construction of residential projects worth approximately EUR 125M in Finland, the Czech Republic and Estonia in March. The start-ups were recorded in first quarter of the year.

Finland — YIT and Helsinki Region Environmental Services, HSY, have signed an agreement on the construction of a new underground wastewater treatment plant in Blominmäki, Espoo. The project will be carried out as a project management contract and its value is approximately EUR 206M.  

Finland — YIT has started the construction of residential projects worth approximately EUR 50M in Turku, Tampere and Vantaa in January and February.

Finland — Regenero, a joint venture formed by YIT and HGR Property Partners, has signed an agreement with Accountor Holding Oy to lease office spaces in the high-rise building in Keilaniemi, Espoo, to be renovated.

Finland — YIT to construct rental apartments worth approximately EUR 50 million in the capital region and in Tampere.

Finland — The construction of the property project for local service centre Hertsi located in Herttoniemi, Helsinki, developed by YIT and Hartela, will start in January 2018. YIT and Hartela will realise the project as a consortium with equal 50/50 shares.

Finland — A major part of the office properties of the commercial centre Dixi, located at the Tikkurila railway station, has been leased. YIT completed the sales transaction of the second phase office properties to Etera Mutual Pension Insurance Company in December.

Finland — The first significant long-term tenancy of the office spaces at the Pasila urban centre Tripla has been signed with Otavamedia Oy. The lease agreement covers over 6,000 square metres on four different floors of the Tripla middle block, including a photo studio.

Finland — YIT starts the construction of apartment building projects in Kuninkaantammi, Helsinki and Mankkaa, Espoo. The combined value of the projects is approximately EUR 25M and each project will comprise approximately 50 apartments.

Finland — The closing of the agreement to implement the hotel for YIT’s Tripla project in Central Pasila, Helsinki, Finland has been secured after the conditions for the agreement were met.
