This past fall, the previous CFO, Fredrik Sjudin, chose to resign from his position. Ulrika Danielsson then took on the role of acting CFO and she will remain in the role until Jakob Nilsson takes over. He has extensive experience from the real estate and construction industry and most recently came from Stena Fastigheter, where he held the role of CFO. Prior to that, he has worked in similar roles, both in Sweden and internationally, at AF Gruppen and Skanska, among others. He will take up his position no later than the summer of 2025 and will be part of Platzer's group management.
Through this recruitment, Platzer is strengthening its finance department and group management to continue developing the work on long-term profitability and sustainable growth.
"I am really looking forward to starting as CFO at Platzer, an exciting company with a clear vision to develop Gothenburg. It will be fun to work together with Johanna and the rest of the organization to continue working on profitable growth, efficient financing and the company's ambitious sustainability agenda to create value for both shareholders and customers," says Jakob Nilsson.
"This is a strategically important recruitment for Platzer on our profitable growth journey. With a strong business drive and solid industry knowledge, Jakob Nilsson will contribute to further developing the company in one of Sweden's strongest regions - Gothenburg. Jakob has many years of experience in economics, finance and development issues. He is a valued and confident leader with a strong commitment to sustainability. I look forward to a close, long-term and forward-looking collaboration with Jakob," says Johanna Hult Rentsch, CEO of Platzer.
