The extension will bring an additional 5,000 square meters in rentable space and it will grow the campus to around 30,000 square meters.

“Our previous extension was completed in 2015 and it has had full occupancy ever since. At the end of March, the occupancy of our Vantaa campus was 95 per cent. The location is one of the best in the capital region, near the Ring Rail train station and the airport, in the middle of the rapidly developing Aviapolis area,” says Technopolis Helsinki Metropolitan Area Director Jukka Vakula.

”We want to offer flexibility and growth opportunities for both our existing and new customers in Technopolis Aviapolis. It is important for us to develop our campus so that it continues to provide a world-class shared workspace environment. Our customers can move seamlessly between coworking and private office solutions, with access to high-quality services and a dynamic community of like-minded people,” says Vakula.

“The Technopolis campus forms communities and increases the interaction between companies. This enhances innovations that boost the vitality of the area even further,” says José Valanta, Director of Business Development at City of Vantaa.

After this project, Technopolis can still expand the campus by another 25,000 square meters. The stabilized yield of the new expansion is expected to be 8 per cent.
