Strömstad Shopping Center is today just over 4,700 square meters and the tenants consist of Systembolaget, Supergott, Sportshopen, Apoteket, Hälsokostbolaget, Asian Town and Skopiraten.
The adjacent plot included in the store has a building right of 3,000 square meters which is planned to be used to develop the area. Since then, the new owners of Strömstad Köpcenter also own the property on the other side of the car park with Eurocash as tenant.
"We are very pleased with the acquisition and are very positive about the possibility of being able to further develop the area that has a good potential to be even better," says Hallgeir Åndal, CEO of Thon Property.
Through the same ownership conditions as this acquisition, the Olav Thon group and Orvelin Group also own Nordby Shoppingcenter and Tanum Shoppingcenter together.
"It feels great that we can be part of further partnerships with the Olav Thon Group and we see the strong synergies with better utilization of building rights and possibly increased capacity for parking," says Ulf Palm, CEO of Orvelin Shopping Center.
