Real Estate is a fast-growing operating segment within Swedavia with major ongoing development projects, primarily at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and Gothenburg Landvetter Airport, where new hotels, office buildings and logistics areas are emerging.

"The real estate business is becoming increasingly important for Swedavia. By developing hotels, offices and other commercial properties in connection with our airports, we strengthen the role of airports as attractive meeting places, while at the same time contributing to the financing of their development," says Karl Wistrand, Executive Vice President of Swedavia and Acting Director of the Group Unit Construction and Systems.

Stefan Stenberg is currently head of Asset Management and Portfolio within Swedavia Real Estate. He has many years of experience from the real estate industry, including as property manager in NCC and in Castellum / Brostaden. Stefan Stenberg succeeds Karl Wistrand, who has been CEO of Swedavia Real Estate since 2013.

He will take his position during May.
