It has been known since last year that the American company Wework in Oslo is looking for office space.

Now the first leases have been signed, and in December Wework in Tjuvholmen opens allé 1-5, where Christian Ringnes, Eiendomsspar, acts as landlord. In the first quarter of next year, the doors in Fjordalleen 16, owned by DNB Næringseiendom, will be opened.

"We rely on being in the best buildings and on the best floors. And then it was natural to find Aker Brygge and Tjuvholmen," says Senior Director Real Estate Management, Nordic Countries, Salman Saeed.

The company has rented 2,700 square meters from Eiendomsspar and 4,200 square meters from DNB Næringseiendom.

Wework has entered into a partnership with the property owners, which means that they share the revenue. It will be the first time that Wework has a partnership with income sharing in Northern Europe.
