In January 2020 Johanna Frelin will take over as new CEO of Riksbyggen. Johanna Frelin succeeds Leif Linde, who turns 65 and retires in May 2020.

"It feels great to have recruited Johanna Frelin as the new CEO of Riksbyggen. Under Leif Linde's management, Riksbyggen has significantly increased both sales, earnings and housing production. Johanna Frelin has the background and expertise needed to continue Riksbyggen's successful journey and further strengthen our position as a community builder with a focus on sustainable development," says Johan Lindholm, Chairman of the Board at Riksbyggen.

Johanna Frelin comes from the position as CEO of Tengbom architects. She has previously been CEO of Hyper Island, an innovation-driven company that educates future leaders. Before that, she has held several managerial positions within the management of the SVT Group.

"It is with humility that I assume the challenge of becoming the new CEO of Riksbyggen. Riksbyggen is a clear valuation-driven company that is far ahead in terms of sustainable development. It will be extremely exciting to lead Riksbyggen into a future where sustainability and increased digitalisation will be crucial success factors," says Johanna Frelin.

Leif Linde will remain as senior adviser until May 2020. Leif Linde will continue to play an active role in the Swedish co-operation, including as chairman of Fonus.
