As a result of the change, the company’s property values are expected to increase by EUR 450-500 million. Sato will switch to the yield based valuation method in its financial statements as of 31 December 2019.

The Board of Directors of Sato Corporation has taken the decision to begin using a yield based valuation method to determine the value of the company’s investment properties that earlier was valued by the sales comparison method.
