Bane Nor Eiendom established Quadrum AS to develop five buildings on the “triangle site” between Kristiansand station, the E39 road and the Kvadraturen city district, with excellent views toward the fjord and the surrounding landscape. The goal is that this hub development will become one of the most important landmarks for urban development in South Norway.

The first construction stage that Veidekke will build, the E building, will comprise approx. 6,500 m2 of office premises on eight floors and 1,700 m2 of basement space. The site has an attractive exposure towards the fjord and the Kvadraturen city district, and the scale of the building indicates that it will be a prominent and noteworthy reference building in the heart of Kristiansand. The contract with Veidekke also includes options for outdoor work and groundworks with pipes and cables.

We have extensive expertise on commercial buildings of this type in Veidekke, and we are particularly excited to erect a landmark building that is so central and visible to everyone in our city,” says district manager Atle Monan of Veidekke.

Building is scheduled to start in June with completion in December 2021.
