Fredrik Jonsson, who will also leave his Board assignments within the company, took over as CEO of Niam in 2017 and prior to this held senior positions at the company since 2007. Jennifer Andersson joined 2007, currently as Head of Investor Relations and Business Development. Rikard Henriksson, Head of Asset Management, joined Niam in 2010.

“Niam is Northern Europe’s leading fund manager in real estate investments and we continuously evaluate different investment strategies to further strengthen and broaden our offering. This means we are also seeking new leadership that can guide the organisation through the next phase of its development. During his almost 15 years at Niam, Fredrik Jonsson has played an important role in the company’s successes to date. On my own behalf, and on behalf of the Board of Directors, I wish to thank Fredrik for his contribution,” says Urban Edenström, CEO of Stronghold Invest and founder of Niam.

As part of Niam’s ambition to further strengthen its position as the market-leading fund manager, the company recently strengthened its team through the recruitment of Mathias Pedersen as new CFO/COO Fund Financial & Regulatory Management, Daniel Andersson as Head of Acquisitions in Sweden, and Jens Skovlunde as Head of Asset Management in Denmark.
