"The area, which today is largely empty, gets new life with housing and business premises, at the same time as the Stockholm Region gets one and a half billion to invest in healthcare and public transport. St. Erik's Eye Hospital has already moved to new and modern premises for highly specialized care and research across from Karolinska Hospital in Solna. It is a clear win for the people of Stockholm. This enables 300 new homes, new offices and commercial premises at the same time as the area becomes safer and more attractive. This will be really good for Stockholmers," says Charlotte Broberg (M), Real Estate and Services Regional Council.
The detailed plan process will run in the coming years and during that period it will be worked out in detail how the area will be designed.
The acquistion price is approximately SEK 1.4–1.5 billion, depending on the building right volume in future detailed plans.
