“JM is a sound well managed company with geographical exposure and profile that fits very well together with OBOS. Through our long-term ownership in listed Viedekke and AF Gruppen ASA we have shown that OBOS is a good industrial owner that contributes to growth and development of companies in the industry” says Daniel Kjørberg Siraj, CEO at OBOS.
JM and OBOS has a lot in common, they both have a solid history within housing construction, mainly in metropolitan areas. They are both long-term urban developers in cities as well as on the countryside with a strong focus on customers. JM’s business complements OBOS’ business in Sweden through affiliate companies OBOS Sverige AB and Kärnhem AB that constructs apartments in multi-family houses and smaller houses across the country.
“We have a lot to learn in Norway from the Swedish construction industry, especially in regards to industrial production, sustainability and innovation” says Kjørberg Siraj.
