“We will now continue our development of the Järva Krog neighborhood, which is a safe and green city district with good transport connections. NCC has previously developed the K12 and K11 office projects here,” says Joachim Holmberg, Business Area Manager, NCC Property Development.

The Nova project has a gross area of approximately 13,000 square meters, including lettable area of about 10,000 square meters. The property will be L-shaped and have two wings with nine, and ten, stories respectively.

Nova will be developed with a focus on tenant wellbeing, particularly in relation to sound, light and ventilation. Sustainability will permeate the building which will have a BREEAM Excellent rating and offer sustainable rental contracts, providing support for companies that want to conduct sustainable operations, and regulating the sustainability commitments of the landlords and tenants.

“We are creating an innovative and inspiring work environment in Nova, with a focus on people and meetings, and sustainability and wellbeing as essential ingredients. We know that this is in high demand and will be highly sought after by our tenants when they return after a long period of working from home,” says Joachim Holmberg.

NCC divested the K12 project in 2019 and K11 in 2021, and has partnered with Aros Bostad in the Link residential project in the same area. Tenants in the first block include PUMA, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, the Swedish Transport Administration, 3M, Philips and NCC.

Construction will start in the autumn and the project is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2023.

The project is being carried out by the NCC Property Development business area, the contract will be executed by NCC Building Sweden and the order will be registered in the third quarter of 2021.
