Thorsten has worked in the Nordic Real Estate market for 20 years. He brings a wealth of experience in both acquiring and asset managing on behalf of opportunistic, value add and core strategies. During his career he has transacted across retail, office, logistics and alternative sectors and will bring his significant experience and network to further enhance the platform’s capabilities.
In his new role, Thorsten will lead a talented team of acquisitions and asset management professionals across Copenhagen and Stockholm, where he will be based. The team currently manages assets with a combined value of almost €600m across Finland, Denmark and Sweden on behalf of the group’s c. EUR 10 billion EMEA Real Estate Equity business.
Strategies include the EUR 1.5 billion Europe Value Add Property Fund V (inc. co-investment), the EUR 700 million open-ended Eurozone Core Property Fund, and a EUR 400m global segregated account.
As Thorsten and team look towards 2022, their focus will be on sourcing high caliber assets across the low beta residential and logistics sectors, which the platform believes are set to further benefit from the continuation of secular trends.
