In Arninge, just north of Stockholm, Arcona is now building Costco's first establishment in Sweden. The project concerns an extensive site adaptation in an existing building which in a short time will be completed and environmentally certified according to Miljöbyggnad level Silver. The premises will also include a bakery, meat and charcuterie, opticians, hearing center, pharmacy and cafeteria. Costco, which is the world's third largest retail chain, plans to open the store in late autumn 2022.

At an early stage, we engaged our strategic installation contractors and in connection with negotiations on contracts, we have also had the opportunity to secure deliveries of materials with long delivery times," says Niklas Virving, department manager at Arcona.
