“It feels very good to welcome Ståle to the group management team. He has shown strong leadership heading up the Norwegian organization, where he has established a commercial focus with the customer at the center. He has developed and strengthened our business by aligning our core business with our sustainability agenda and innovative solutions. With our strategy being based on these parameters, Ståle will contribute with his experience from day one. He is also a strong culture builder who always has our people in focus”, says Anders Danielsson, President, and CEO of Skanska Group.
“It is with great humility and pride that I join the Group Leadership Team. I am passionate about sustainable and innovative development with our customers at the center. There is no better company to work at than Skanska to address those issues daily. We have a tremendous strength in our geographical spread, sound financial position and diversified portfolio. With that as a starting point, I expect full speed from the very beginning,” says Ståle Rød, newly appointed Executive Vice President, Skanska Group.
Skanska's CEO Anders Danielsson will, in addition to the overall responsibility for Skanska's operations, be responsible for the business units Boklok Housing and continue to be responsible for Skanska Sweden and Skanska Finland. Activities relating to rental residential will be reported in the Commercial Development stream with Executive Vice President Claes Larsson in charge. Claes will also continue to be responsible for the business streams Commercial Development and Investment properties.
The above will enter into force on January 1, 2023.
