Geveran Trading is controlled by the Norwegian shipping billionaire John Fredriksen, who with the increase becomes the second largest owner in Fabege with 5.02 percent of the capital and votes.

Backahill is still the largest owner with 15.75 percent, while Fabege has now been pushed down to third place with 4.90 percent.

Geveran Tradings is, among other things, the largest owner of the Norwegian fish farming company Mowi. According to Fabege's finance manager Åsa Bergström, there has been no contact between the parties regarding the investment.

"I do not know Geveran and we have had no contact with them regarding their investment in Fabege," she tells Nordic Property News.
