“We greatly appreciate the confidence shown in us to build the new office building for Zurhaar AS and Rune Birkeland. This is a project on which we have cooperated closely and well with all parties involved since last autumn. We will have a lot of own production on the project, so there are a lot of people in Veidekke who are looking forward to starting the construction work after the holidays,” says district manager Thor Småbrekke with Veidekke Bygg Bergen.
The building will be about 2,200 sqm across four floors, and a basement that will include an energy plant that will also benefit the neighbouring properties. The building will be certified in accordance with the BREEAM-NOR Excellent environmental standard.
“We have had a very constructive process together with SpareBank 1 SR-Bank, Veidekke and b+b architects on this project. We are incredibly pleased to have secured this contract, so that we can vitalise the final part of Nesttun that has not been very attractive,” says Rune Birkeland, CEO of Zurhaar AS.
“We’re growing and want to expand further with a comprehensive finance house in the heart of Nesttun. We’re looking forward to the summer of 2025 when we can gather around 70 employees and welcome our customers in new, attractive and environmentally friendly premises,” says Regional Director Mads Didriksen in SpareBank 1 SR-Bank.
Construction will start in the autumn, with occupation scheduled for the summer of 2025. This commission is included in Veidekke’s order book for Q2.
