Jonas Rickberg has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Vice President at Skanska Group.  He will take office as Group CFO and join Skanska's Group Leadership Team no later than January 31, 2025. Jonas Rickberg is currently the Group CFO and Executive Vice President at Scania Group and a member of the company’s Executive Board.

 

Jonas Rickberg brings a wealth of experience in strategic finance, business control and operational leadership, having served in diverse roles across various geographies. Before joining the Scania Group, which he spent close to 20 years with, Jonas Rickberg spent five years with Volvo Cars. He holds a Bachelor in Medical Science at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and a Master of Business Administration at the School of Economics in Gothenburg.

In April 2024 Skanska announced that Magnus Persson will leave the company after having been with Skanska for 18 years and a member of the Company’s Group Leadership Team and Group CFO since 2018. Pontus Winqvist, Senior Vice President Group Corporate Finance and Control, will as of September 1 be acting Group CFO until Jonas Rickberg takes office.
