Stefan Soreby has long and broad experience in real estate, construction and financing and comes most recently from Midstar Hotels, where he was finance director. Previously, Stefan Soreby held, among other things, the role of finance and finance manager at Bostadsstiftelsen Signalisten as well as central roles in controlling at SBAB, Jernhusen and NCC.
"We are very happy to welcome Stefan to us. Stefan's experience in analysis and profitability from property and construction companies as well as high competence in financing, transactions and reporting are areas that are important for our future development," says Olov Lindgren's CEO Frida Stannow Lind.
Olov Lindgren's growth through both acquisition and development of existing properties and new production of new residential buildings is continuous, which means that financing and transactions are central. Adaptation to the future in the company takes place in parallel, which places demands on business ethics in all its parts. Stefan Soreby has some knowledge of Olov Lindgren from before.
"I already knew Olov Lindgren when I was growing up, when my father was employed by the company as a carpenter, and I also lived as a tenant for a period. The circle closes when I now have the opportunity to become finance and finance manager, a role I am very happy and humbled to take over. I look forward to working together with my new colleagues and to learning a lot in a company with a long history and a fantastic property portfolio," says Stefan Soreby.
Stefan Soreby takes up the role on 1 October 2024.
