Finland — Bayerische Versorgungskammer (BVK) entered the Finnish property market by acquiring a 18,781 sqm residential property portfolio from Tapiola KR IV Ky property fund.

Finland — According to the KTI's statistics, the transaction volume of January-February exceeded EUR 1.4 billion in the Finnish property market. This means that Q1 transaction volume will exceed EUR 1 billion for the first time since 2008.

Sweden — Sveafastigheter sells a property portfolio, embracing the main part of the remaining assets in Sveafastigheter Fund III. The property value of the portfolio amounts to EUR 450 million. The portfolio acquires by Partners Group, via a secondary transaction on behalf of its clients.

Finland — Niam has acquired six office properties in Helsinki from Elo Mutual Pension Insurance Company in two independent transactions. The portfolio comprises a total lettable area of approximately 77,000 sqm. The transaction value was over €160 M.

Finland — Swedish property investor Sagax has signed a conditional agreement on the acquisition of 156,000 sqm retail property portfolio for approx. EUR 90 million.

Finland — According to the KTI statistics, only 21,000 sqm of new retail space was completed in 2015 in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area (approx. 45,000 sqm in 2014). In addition, some 17,000 sqm of major retail redevelopments were completed. Finland — Property investment company Sponda Plc has sold land areas in the Vermo district of Espoo, to Etera Mutual Personal Insurance Company and Suomen Asunnot ja Tontit I Ky. The purchase price was about EUR 23.2 million.

Finland — Varma has signed a deal regarding the divestment of 22 business properties to the new real estate fund company Serena Properties AB. The leasable area in the divested properties amounts to approximately 152,000 sqm, and they are located in different areas in Finland. The total value of the properties amount to approximately € 191,5 M.

Finland — Hemsö is purchasing a school currently under construction in Pori, Finland, for EUR 56.5 million. Hemsö already owns 17 properties in Finland.

Finland — According to the KTI the transaction volume of the three first quarters of 2015 totaled € 4.1 billion, which is some 30 percent more than in the corresponding period last year.
