The newly formed company Forum Tenax takes over as the new property owner immediately. This marks the company's first joint deal, which creates a stable platform for future collaborations and projects.
RED is the market leader in the development of Retail Parks and is known for its ability to create attractive environments for trade through business and concept development. Over the past fifteen years, RED has developed over 100,000 square meters of new Retail Park assets worth approximately SEK 1.5 billion.
Stadsbyggen is a property company with a focus on development and management of warehouse, light industrial and community properties. Since its inception in 1992, the company has developed and managed a large number of properties and projects. The focus is always on creating environments with the best possible conditions for attractive living or an efficient business.
"RED has previously been involved in Ingelsta Handelscentrum, when in 2017 we acquired the shopping area together with the British fund Standard Life Investments. We carried out a rapid restructuring and initiated a new detailed plan and participated in the sale of the area in 2019 to Deka. Now being given the opportunity to buying back the area together with a stable partner who also has extensive experience in property development gives us great opportunities to complete the development project that we started in 2017. We look forward to continuing the development of Ingelsta, which in our opinion has the best location in Norrköping," says Ronald Rico, CEO at RED.
"For us at Stadsbyggen, the collaboration with RED means an opportunity to step into the Retail market, with a perfectly allied partner, where the ambition is to grow with more business going forward," says Peter Åman, CEO at Stadsbyggen.
Advokatfirman Kane, Skierfe, Tellus Tax and EY Real Estate have been advisors in the transaction.
