Wihlborgs has acquired the Bure 2 property in Hyllie from Sundprojekt. The property comprises a site of 2,395 sqm with development rights for office premises of 6,800 sqm. Sundprojekt has prepared a project, Origo, which Wihlborgs plans to complete. The project is expected to be ready for occupancy in the second quarter of 2019. Wihlborgs’ investment will amount to MSEK 238 (EUR 25M) and, when fully let, the yield is estimated at 6 percent.

“We can confirm that Hyllie has developed into an attractive area with healthy demand for office premises. Most of the office premises in our ongoing Dungen project are already let. The acquisition of Origo enables us to offer additional tenants modern premises in an attractive location with good transport links,” says Anders Jarl, CEO of Wihlborgs Fastigheter.

“Hyllie is a fantastic development area and we have identified considerable potential with the Origo project that we developed. Since our main focus is housing, and as we have an extensive and exciting order stock, we have decided to concentrate on this area. We are currently developing 115 apartments in Hyllie as part of the Prisma Hyllie project,” says Henrik Lindén, CEO of Sundprojekt AB.

Wihlborgs has also completed a minor supplementary acquisition in Fosie, Malmö. The Benkammen 16 office and warehouse property was acquired for SEK 39 million and comprises a site of 26,000 sqm and a building of 6,260 sqm. The building is fully let to Watski AB. Occupancy will be from 10 March 2017.
