Anders Danielsson Appointed New CEO of Skanska

Sweden Sweden The Board of Directors has appointed Anders Danielsson new President and CEO of Skanska. He will succeed Johan Karlström who previously announced he will step down.

Anders Danielsson has worked at Skanska since 1991. He is currently serving as Executive Vice President with responsibility for Skanska Skanska’s construction units in the U.S. and Infrastructure Development.

Before Anders Danielsson joined Skanska’s Senior Executive Team in 2013 he was President of Skanska Norway where he led two successful turnarounds of construction operations and residential development operations. Prior to that, he served as President for four years at Skanska Sweden.

Anders has worked in multiple countries and has successfully managed the business in both construction and development. He is very result-oriented and has a strong focus on profitability. Anders Danielsson will assume his new position January 1, 2018, when Johan Karlström will step down as CEO and member of the Board of Directors. Johan Karlström will remain as a senior advisor until January 2019, when he will retire.

Sweden Sweden Pelican Self Storage divests five of their eleven plants in Sweden. The plants which are concerned are located in Västerås, Örebro, Linköping, Norrköping and Åkersberga. The buyer is Shurgard, who takes over the plants including employees and customers.

Hemfosa Acquires Portfolio for EUR 106M

Sweden Sweden Hemfosa has signed an agreement to acquire a property portfolio in Sweden with a value of about EUR 106M. The portfolio consists of seven properties comprising predominantly office premises with tenants in the community services sector.

Balder in New Hotel Investment
