Agneta Jacobsson, until now CEO of DTZ in Sweden, shares that she as late as last week was informed that she had been appointed Swedish CEO.
“It will be a amazing company and I am very happy that I get to lead and develop it. I also look forward to working with Anders and the others from the old Cushman & Wakefield. It is a well established team of coworkers who really make a difference in the field” Agneta Jacobsson tells Nordic Property News.
She also looks forward to developing the company in the other Nordic countries.
“We have affiliates in all the Nordic countries but nothing is established going forward.”
She believes that both companies complement each other well.
“A year ago Cushman & Wakefield was basically nothing in Sweden, but a lot has happened and they now have a fantastic transaction team. We have made around 50 transactions this year but apart from a few large deals the majority has been smaller transactions. With Cushman & Wakefield it becomes a whole other segment.”
“At the same time, the old DTZ is very strong in Valuation and we have also grown in Occupier Services. We will announce that shortly.”
The new company will have approximately 80 employees in Sweden.
Globally, the new Cushman & Wakefield has revenues of $5 billion and more than 43,000 employees in over 60 countries. Cushman & Wakefield/DTZ completed sales transactions valued at $191 billion in 2014, and oversee a property and facilities management portfolio totaling 4.3 billion square feet.
