Nacka 5 AB has since 2016 owned the land that is usually called the original Nacka Strand, ie both the investment properties closest to the water and the underlying ground. The transaction thus means that there will be a property division that means that the investment properties closest to the water are transferred to the buyer, while Oscar Properties retains the underlying ground.

To begin with, it strengthens our capital structure, but as we also keep land in the area that can be developed for residential purposes, the opportunity still remains to develop the property with the high ambitions we originally wanted," says Oscar Engelbert, CEO of Oscar Properties.

"With its immediate connection to Stockholm's inlet, this is one of the region's most attractive housing locations and our ambition is now to work with Nacka municipality as quickly as possible to run the detailed planning work and start developing housing," says Oscar Engelbert.

The transaction will be fully completed on June 25. Savills has acted as advisor to the seller.
