The purchase is made through property acquisitions, based on an agreed property value of SEK 106 million. Access is expected to take place during the third quarter of 2020. Public Housing cooperates in this transaction with a local partner for the development of the property and leasing of vacant space. The agreement is conditional on the regional council saying yes to the sale at its June meeting.

The property contains just over 26,000 square meters of living space for health and care operations, including primary care, specialist care, psychiatry, veterinarian, dentists and a number of other institutions connected to public operations. Region Västernorrland is the dominant tenant and rents about 14,000 square meters with an average remaining contract length exceeding ten years. The annual rental value of the property currently amounts to approximately SEK 17 million.
