Jenny Jonsson was born and raised in the US and last year was named Årets Unga Fastighetskvinna (Young Woman in Real Estate of the Year) by the magazine Fastighetssverige. In recent years, she has lived and worked in Sweden in Byggvesta's parent company Bansvik and as a supreme driver in Yalla Rinkeby, which offers women a path to integration and work through cooking and entrepreneurship. At the same time as the appointment of Jenny Jonsson, the other management group is strengthened.
Byggvesta is a long-term owner who, through his American owners, wants to add new ideas to rental and student housing in Sweden. The company works with the entire process from early stages, development to production and administration and today has student housing in good communication locations in several of Sweden's largest and fastest growing regions. Adapting the houses to the site and developing sustainable housing based on the needs and finances of many people has always been a matter of course. Today, digital service development is also high on the agenda.
"It is with great energy and passion that I look forward to leading Byggvesta through the next stage of development. A lot will happen in the company. ByggVesta should become more visible and better at communicating everything we do. For several years we have, in partnership with AFA, created the successful concept of Green Housing. Since last year, Byggvesta has a JV together with Bonnier Fastigheter and is facing another exciting journey. In addition, we will develop our own homes and become even more active in the market," says CEO Jenny Jonsson.
The management group is further strengthened by the appointment of Christer Hero as new CFO in the Byggvesta Group. He has previously worked as interim CFO in several assignments and previously has a solid real estate expertise from, among others, Huge Fastigheter, Jernhusen and Scania Industrial Maintanance.
Agneta Jacobsson was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors at the last Annual General Meeting. She has long and solid experience from the Swedish real estate market and has been CEO and responsible for the Nordic operations at Cushman & Wakefield. Today she works as a founding partner in Outpoint AB. Agneta Jacobsson was also one of the founders of Swedish Green Building Conucil, SGBC.
