Skanska in Strategic Cooperation with Folksam

Sweden — Skanska Hyresbostäder begins a strategic cooperation with Folksam in regards to the divestment of newly produced housing properties. The cooperation encompasses a number of development projects that give Folksam the opportunity to exclusively acquire almost 600 apartments at a value of approximately SEK 1.3 billion (€140M).

The housing projects that are available within the frame of this cooperation are located in Stockholm and the Öresund region. The projects will be started successively; Folksam will enter companies successively and also be in charge of the leasing and management.

Possession will be taken in 2017-2019.
