The new company gets the total assignment of commercial, economical and technical management. The assignment starts on April 1st 2016. SEB Trygg Liv’s Swedish property portfolio encompasses 69 properties of approximately 505 000 sqm in Stockholm, Uppsala, Gothenburg, Helsingborg and Malmö.
“It is an incredible favor and great confidence to be able to start the company with an assignment like this. It is with great humility that we take on the task of managing and developing one of Sweden’s finest real estate portfolios” Mikael Hasselberg tells Nordic Property News.
“Since starting Grandab two and a half years ago we have been asked multiple times to start a new management company. There has been a great demand of further management operators. With this project it is the right time to start. It is a large enough project that we go from zero to number two on the Swedish market at once.”
The new real estate management company will have its headquarters in Stockholm.
“Grandab is one part of the company. Other than that I can say that there will be stable, long-term and financially strong owners in the owner structure.”
The goal is to eventually grow with more customers and become a long-term and competitive player on the market.
Tomas Krywult, Head of Real Estate SEB Investment Management says:
“We have chosen a new operator on the Swedish management market. The contract has been ongoing this fall and we have chosen a very committed part with long, solid experience of real estate management.”
