The property on Uudenmaankatu 1-5 comprises two buildings, that were erected 1891 and 1905, as commercial and residential buildings.
The Finnish state bought the property in 1913 and since then, it has been used by government agencies.
Now, The Ministry of Interior has its office in the building, but the ministry will leave in 2017.
Lapis Construction plans to restore the property to its original purpose, commercial and residential building.
