EQ Care Acquires Hospital and Care Property

Finland — Special Investment Fund eQ Care has acquired a large hospital and care property from Invalidisäätiö. The property is located at Tenholantie 10 in Ruskeasuo, Helsinki and was originally constructed between 1941 and 1943 to provide rehabilitation for Winter War veterans.

The property has been expanded and modernized several times to meet the modern hospital and health care standards and to accommodate also two nursing homes for the elderly.

The leasable area of the property is approx. 21,600 sq. m. and the tenants include a number of leading health care and care providers, such as HUS, Orton, Esperi Care and Tutoris.

"We are primarily investing in care, health and education buildings in the capital region and will continue to develop this historically valuable multi-use health hub in the future together with its tenants. We are also thanking Invalidisäätiö and Newsec for a smooth process," says Investment Director Jennifer Eloheimo from eQ.
