When completed, Villa Tureberg will be a five-story elderly care home, consisting of approximately 4,500 square meters of accommodation for elderly and 500 square meters of group housing with special services for adults. It is being built with focus on safety, sustainability, and long-term development. The project is developed by Skanska Sweden.

With high sustainability requirements regarding climate, energy performance and choice of materials, as well as waste and water management, the building will have a very low environmental impact. It will be equipped with solar panels on the roof and is being built with materials with a low climate impact, such as wood and recycled bricks in the facade. The building will be certified according to LEED Gold.

The building is under construction and will be completed in the third quarter of 2022.

Villa Tureberg is the first building project to be started at the old exhibition area in Sollentuna, outside Stockholm. When the entire area is developed, it will consist of approximately 700 new homes and commercial premises.
