“This acquisition is completely in line with our strategy to acquire well-located properties of high quality and with strong tenants. Cernera has done an excellent job of developing and modernizing the buildings and we are happy to become the owner of such a well-managed stock. With this acquisition, we strengthen our presence in Borås and take another step closer to our recently updated target of a property portfolio worth SEK 20 billion before 2025,” says Gustaf Segerborg, CEO of Randviken.
“The transaction with Randviken will be our second joint deal in a short time and just as in the previous one, the dialogue and cooperation has worked well. The sale of the three properties in Borås is primarily carried out in order for Cernera to increase the investment rate in the existing portfolio and enable new acquisitions. We work purposefully to expand nationally and the transaction creates conditions for continued strong growth and expansive investments in new development projects,” says Lars Angwald, CEO of Cernera.
