Catena will be divesting the two properties, Ättehögen 2 and Älghunden 3, in Jönköping at a total underlying property value of SEK 141 million, exceeding the most recent valuation by approximately 60 percent. The sale will be conducted as a corporate transaction, with the buyer being property company Västerhuset AB.
“With the sale of these properties, the composition of Catena’s overall portfolio will, in our view, better reflect our focus. We continue to perceive great potential in the region and recently acquired land at the Hyltena motorway junction with the intention of developing logistics facilities there that will be fully adapted to tomorrow’s logistics flows,” says Jonas Arvidsson, Catena’s Regional Manager for Jönköping.
The Ättehögen 2 property has a lettable area of about 8,710 m2 and the Älghunden 3 property has a lettable area of about 3,740 sqm. The premises have a total of six tenants with varying operations. Catena will relinquish possession of the properties as of 1 April.
