The office market in Solna / Arenastaden is strong and many large companies choose to locate their headquarters here, of which Vattenfall, SEB, Telia and Ica are some. With accessibility via both Solna station, the crossroads, most bus lines and cycle paths, demand is still high and now Skandia Fastigheter is adding new opportunities to the area in the form of a BREEAM-certified office building with low energy consumption, good indoor environment, low water consumption and stormwater treatment.
"This will be an attractive addition of workplaces in Arenastaden for companies that value easily accessible and flexible offices with a landlord who understands the importance of the office as the company's home and place for cultural building, collaboration and development. There will also be extra features such as an associated garage, generous bicycle parking and changing rooms for all office tenants. On top of it all, we place two large roof terraces and outside the entrance, the city will build a square with space for a future tenant's outdoor restaurant," says Bo Jansson, property manager at Skandia Fastigheter.
Skandia Fastigheter has a legally binding detailed plan in Solna / Arenastaden, which entails a densification and urban development of Ballongberget (today 300 homes with tenancies) with three new blocks including housing, offices, a preschool and a square. In parallel with the construction of the new office building, the City of Solna will build the upcoming square and a bridge, for a clearer interconnection of Balloonberget and the area on the other side of the railway tracks.
