"Given the strong fundamentals in the Swedish retail market we are currently seeing good growth opportunities. Malmö and Lund are part of the Öresund region and are both exceptionally strong retail locations.
Both, Svaegertorp 'and the retail park, Nova Lund' are successful and well established retail centers, which will continue to grow given the expected growth in population,” says Eva Granlund, Head of Nordic Real Estate Investment at Schroders.
The Schroder Nordic Real Estate Fund is a specialised real estate AIF with a German institutional investor base and is set to celebrate its 10th anniversary this year. The fund acquired three office properties in Helsinki and Stockholm last year for €120M. At the same time Schroders sold a property in the center of Stockholm in line with its active portfolio management approach. The exceptional performance of the fund has provided this year for further inflows - currently there are more than €150M available for investment.
