Julie Rømsing comes to Newsec with experience from, among other things, consulting and 10 years at ISS, where she has led major organizational and cultural transformations in several markets - and most recently as Nordic Operations Performance Director/COO was responsible for optimizing the facility management group's operative functions across seven Northern European countries.

"I am incredibly happy that a talent like Julie has chosen to say yes to becoming part of Newsec and thus put herself at the head of our many talented employees in Denmark. We have an ambition to transform the real estate industry, and with Julie's international skills and strong abilities to create a culture that both motivates employees and ensures customer satisfaction, I am sure that we have got the right person to lead Newsec's Danish business, ” says Eric Johansson, Nordic head of Newsec Property Asset Management.

Julie Rømsing looks forward to using her experience as the new director of Newsec Property Asset Management in Denmark, as well as joining the largest service company in the Nordics with a focus on administration, operation and development of properties.

"I am extremely looking forward to meeting my new colleagues and to taking Newsec to the next level together. I see great opportunities in the real estate industry in the coming years, and Newsec's position between owners, tenants and users of the properties is incredibly interesting. We must use that position and our extensive skills to bring new perspectives to our customers' properties to an even greater extent," says Julie Rømsing, future Managing Director of Newsec Property Asset Management in Denmark, and continues:

"Many people talk about the same trends, but if we can continue to implement the right digitalisation, it will bring great benefits in the form of more time for dialogue with customers and better service experiences for tenants. If we also strengthen our offer in the area of sustainability, I believe that we can become a leading player in our customers' green transition. This is precisely what attracted me to the industry - not only the business potential, but also the possibility that together we can make a positive difference in the world around us."

Julie Rømsing replaces Kim Andersen as Managing Director for Newsec Property Asset Management in Denmark. Kim Andersen has decided to quit Newsec of his own accord, and in recent months has contributed to the process of finding the right replacement to pass the baton on to.

"Kim Andersen is a highly valued colleague and manager, who has helped to secure a number of large customer agreements and drive our Danish business forward, e.g. by sharpening our focus on sustainability, tenant and customer satisfaction and digitalisation. Everyone at Newsec wishes Kim all the best in his future endeavours,” says Eric Johansson, Nordic Head of Newsec Property Asset Management.

Julie Rømsing will join on 1 June 2023 as Managing Director for Newsec Property Asset Management Denmark A/S and will join the Nordic management at the same time.
