"I am both honored and happy about the opportunity to work and be part of Svenska Hus' board," says Mikael Granath, incoming member of Svenska Hus' Board of Directors.

"We are very happy that Mikael, with his long experience and broad competence in the real estate industry, is joining our board," says Lennart Karlsson, Chairman of Svenska Hus.

Mikael Granath has extensive experience in the real estate industry in general and has been CEO of several real estate companies, ranging from municipally owned to listed on the stock exchange. In recent years, the assignments have had a clear focus on housing companies. In 2010, Mikael Granath started the real estate company Willhem AB together with the co-founder and Första AP-fonden as owners. This was followed by 13 years as CEO of the company, which developed from a capital raising project to one of Sweden's leading housing companies. Willhem conducts extensive investment activities in the property portfolio and project development under its own auspices, which has a turnover of approximately SEK 2.7 billion and has a property value of approximately SEK 60 billion.

The board of Svenska Hus otherwise consists of Lennart Karlsson, Patrik Kallenvret, Ulf Martinsson, Patrik Eriksson, Erika Hellman and Lisa Kjellén. At the same time that Mikael Granath takes office, Erika Hellman and Patrik Eriksson will leave the board.
