Skanska has signed a contract with the City of Helsinki and Senate Properties on the implementation of the high-rise project in the Pasila area in Helsinki.

Originally in 2019, YIT was chosen as the developer of the high-rise project, but in late 2021 YIT decided to withdraw from the project. Skanska's plan became second in the original Helsinki High-rise competition. Skanska will develop four towers and a pavilion building in the vicinity of the Pasila railway station. The construction is estimated to start in 2026.
