The deal means that Platzer becomes the sole owner of the logistics buildings with a total LOA of 90,927 square meters which are fully leased to Volvo Cars, Volvo Trucks, Schenker Logistics and Sportshopen. The properties have a total annual rent of approximately SEK 68 million and an average contract length of 8.8 years. All leases are triple-net. Access is planned for June 30, in connection with this, the properties are transferred from associated companies to wholly owned investment properties in Platzer's accounting.

"Today's acquisition is in line with the agreement that we agreed in the joint venture with Bockasjö in 2020 and which has proven to be a successful arrangement for both parties. Together, we have developed a modern logistics park that not only delivers in terms of location and efficiency, but also in terms of high environmental requirements. We see the proof of this not least in the tenants who have established themselves in the logistics park. Now we look forward to taking over the ownership and, together with Bockasjö, continue the development of the area that remains within the joint venture company," says P-G Persson CEO of Platzer.

Sörred Logistikpark is a joint venture company between Bockasjö and Platzer where the parties each own 50 percent. The company was formed in 2020 when Sörred Logistikpark acquired Platzer's properties Sörred 8:12 and Sörred 7:21. Within the joint venture company, Bockasjö acts as business developer where Platzer has the option to become 100 percent owner and manager of the fully developed properties. The collaboration between the two companies has been characterized by good team spirit and fast progress, which has resulted in Sörred Logistikpark delivering tailored solutions with a clear sustainability focus to its customers in a short time. All buildings are planned to be certified according to BREEAM-SE excellent and equipped with solar cell installations of 500 kW per building. Sörred Logistikpark has a total of 135,000 square meters LOA. Within the framework of the joint venture company, 45,000 square meters remain that are under development.

"Now we enter a natural second phase when the joint venture company sells back the fully developed properties to Platzer. To be able to stand here with three fully leased sustainable properties after only three years would not have been possible without a fantastic effort from our employees and good cooperation together with our tenants. Now we will continue to work on the development of the remaining 45,000 square meters, of which 14,000 are under construction," says Joakim Hedin, CEO of Bockasjö.
