The twelve batteries installed have a total output of 600 kW and will offer Svenska kraftnät important support services needed to keep the electricity system in balance.

"We always strive to find wise and sustainable energy solutions. By investing in the batteries, we are taking a significant step towards our vision of being an active player in the energy transition," says Genesta CEO David Neil.

Genesta, which has the goal of producing its own energy in its properties, will eventually also be able to use the batteries to store energy and optimize the properties' energy use.

For Stockholm Exergi, which works to develop various forms of battery solutions, this is the first customer collaboration in the real estate sector. By controlling the in-house developed digital platform, Stockholm Exergi will ensure that Genesta gets the maximum effect from the batteries.

"Finding the right battery and controlling it in an optimal way to, for example, be able to access Svenska kraftnät's support service market is a challenge for many property owners. Here we want to be our customers' energy partner and make it easy and safe for them to develop their energy solutions, " says Carl Lidholm, sales manager at Stockholm Exergi.
