The property is generally in good condition having undergone extensive renovations in 2021. The average remaining contract period for all leases is close to three years.

"Through the acquisition, we further strengthen our collaboration with Ica, which is our largest tenant, and at the same time increase our share of food properties in our portfolio. Food fits well into our portfolio and we continue to evaluate new potential acquisitions of this type of property around Sweden," says Jöran Rydberg, transaction manager at Svenska Handelsfastigheter.

 

The deal also means that Svenska Handelsfastigheter further strengthens its position in Hudiksvall, where the company has already been established, including at the Hälsingeporten shopping area. The share of real estate for food trade amounts to well over 50 percent of Svenska Handelsfastigheter's total portfolio.

 

Advisors to the buyer were Advokatfirma Delphi and Angermann and Lindahls Advokatbyrå on behalf of the seller. The deal was completed and the property was occupied on Friday the 15 of September.
