In the beginning of 2016 the shopping center received award “Stockholmarnas favoritcentrum” and the award “2016 Best International Shopping Center” from Retail and Leisure International magazine.
 
“Mall of Scandinavia has had an incredibly successful first year. The one-year anniversary will be celebrated with a lot of festivity in the entire mall,” says the center manager Louise Bergqvist.
 
Multiple new shops and concepts have opened during this year and there are currently 224 shops and restaurants spread out on 101,000 sqm.
 
“Mall of Scandinavia has quickly established a very high level of sales and visitors already during its first year. We now increase our future forecasts,” says Lars-Åke Tollemark, CEO at Unbail-Rodamco in the Nordics.
 
Leading up to 2017 Mall of Scandinavia will continue developing their concept with between 10-15 new brand and pop-up businesses.
