Wihlborgs has signed a lease for 12,300 sqm

Sweden — Wihlborgs has signed a lease with Försäkringskassan for 12,300 m2 in the so called “Ubåtshallen” (Kranen 8) at Dockan.

Occupancy will be in May 2016.

"We are very pleased and proud that Försäkringskassan chooses to continue their cooperation with us when they now gather their operations in Malmö in one place", says Anders Jarl, CEO of Wihlborgs Fastigheter.

For several years both Malmö University and Mediegymnasiet have had their activities in Ubåtshallen. Now we will change the property's five lower floors from education facilities to offices. The sixth and top floor is rented by Duni.

"When Försäkringskassan now moves to Dockan, it will further strengthen the area", concludes Anders Jarl.

"This solution enables us to create a modern office with both flexibility and good working environment. It will benefit both our operations and meetings with our customers", says Gunnar Pettersson, Property Manager at Försäkringskassan.
