Steen & Strøm has signed an agreement with AB Kristianstadsbyggen (ABK), a company wholly owned by Kristianstad municipality, regarding the sale of Galleria Boulevard – Domus 2, excluding the part owned by Kristianstad municipality – in central Kristianstad. The sale is in line with Steen & Strøm's strategy for optimizing the shopping center portfolio by focusing on larger cities in Scandinavia.

"ABK has had a desire to revitalize the center of Kristianstad and submitted a tender for Galleria Boulevard. This coincided with our strategy to focus on shopping centers in larger Scandinavian cities," says Björn Tjaum, Head of Investments at Steen & Strøm.

"We see a clear potential in the property. We are convinced that as local property owners, together with the municipality, we have great opportunities to create something that will really become an asset in a long-term perspective," says Christer Nilsson (M), chairman of ABK.

Planned access to the property is December 31, 2023.
